Kumari Agencies is a partnership firm that handles the CFA Operations of Britannia Industries Limited since June 1987. It is an associate firm of Indian Foods Private Limited, manufacturers of Biscuits in Madurai.
From a modest 500 s.ft of go-down space in 1987, the volume has grown over the years and is presently operating from a 70,000 s.ft of go-down space now.
We service eight revenue districts in Tamil Nadu and also part of Kerala. The territory covered by this CFA is entire South Tamil Nadu with Cumbum-Theni in the NWest, Dindugal-Madurai-Sivaganga in the North and Paramakudi-Ramnad-Rameswaram in the NEast. And also a few stations in South Kerala.
The territory serviced by us covers 62 towns in South Tamil Nadu and 8 towns in Kerala. The Authorised Wholesalers, Modern Trade and Other Channel Partners catered by us number 106 in South Tamil Nadu and 21 in Kerala.
We maintain about 250 SKUs in biscuits, cakes, dairy and others.
In terms of volume, we handle about 560,000 CBBs in a month. This translates to about 3,200 tons in weight and about Rs 42 crores in value. Our average daily truck (full) handling is about 50 trucks a day, with peak movement achieved at 75.
We have well trained Staff in CFA management, SAP and computers operations, Stock keeping, following Company SOPs and all connected CFA operations.
